We left early today theoretically for NY knowing that we were probably going to spend the night in Jacksonville. Arrived at Jacksonville airport with all the signs saying that all flights were on time!!! THE SIGNS WERE WRONG!!! All flights had been cancelled but they hadn't bothered to update any of the indicator boards. Jess and Joe spent ages with the agent and they got us on a flight to Atlanta the next morning, on standby for a flight to NY and booked on a later flight to NY. We then had a room at the Holiday Inn which Betty's daughter in law has organised for us. Luxurious and cheap!!
